Introduction

2BlocksEast is a community driven website providing information and resources about local events and various forms of intersite communication.

Data Submissions - Textual, Image, Video, or Audio

We expect our users to abide by the following guidelines when posting any information to the website:

  1. No profanity. We have a profanity filter in place, however, it may not catch all slang and slurs. Users who knowingly and repeatedly use indecent language may be subject to account termination.
  2. No nudity. This website is frequented by visitors of all ages and as such, we do not feel it is an appropriate outlet for any photographs or videos containing nudity.
  3. No harassment. This is a zero tolerance rule. If we receive notice that a user has harassed another, the offending account will be instantly deactivated and will be perminantly removed.
  4. Copyright: You may only upload media (text, pictures, videos, and audio) that you create or own the rights to. By uploading media, you are permitting 2BlocksEast a royalty-free, unlimited use license to use the media in promotional pieces or for any other purpose we choose.

User Conduct

2BlocksEast allows for user submitted content. This opens us up to a whole host of legal issues if our users do not respect the platform we provide. For the best possible experience, and to ensure all other users also enjoy their experience, please follow these guidelines when creating events or venues or comments:

  1. Users may not engage in bulk account creation through manual or scripted means.
  2. Users may not use the site to promote hate related events or venues.
  3. Users may not post information about, or the promition of, stolen property, firearms, illegal drugs, prostitution, or any other illegal activity.
  4. All data (text, images, videos, or audio) found on 2BlocksEast is copyright 2BlocksEast and may not be used without express written permission from 2BlocksEast.

Common Sense

We ask our users to use their common sense and manors whenever possible. We hope to create a fun and lively community of people looking to join their real friends for a night on the town.
